Break new ground: do something that has not been done before

Evan: Have you finished your new music composition?

Wolfgang: Not yet. It's not polished. It needs to be something the people have never seen before. 

Evan: I think you'll break new ground with this current composition.

Wolfgang: Thank you, but it isn't complete yet. It's missing something, but I am not sure what it is just yet.

ウォルフガング「いいえ、まだです。まだ磨かれてないんです。もっと人々が出会ったことがないものにする必要があるのです。」
エヴァン「この最近の作曲であなたは新天地を切り開くと思います。」
ウォルフガング「ありがとうございます。しかし、まだできあがっていないのです。何かが足りない、でもそれが一体何なのか分からないのです。」
